Dear Friends,
October was supposed to be the end of our Mobile Market season but, on November 1st, SNAP benefits were paused and many of our neighbors faced increased food insecurity. In response, the van is back on the road until Thanksgiving and is stocked with lots of protein as well as seasonal veggies. Everyone is invited to shop with us and to pay what they choose, no questions asked. At our first two stops this week we ran out of produce within the first 30 minutes. While we're thrilled to be able to help fill fridges, it was a sharp reminder of how much this food is needed across Boise.
Thank you for being a part of our team building a sustainable food system. We couldn't do it without you. With gratitude and hope, Britt |

200,000 Pounds of Produce! |
Last week we delivered our 200,000th pound of fresh produce to our community, and 100,000 of those pounds were distributed just in the last 4 months! This milestone was made possible thanks to our partners at Global Gardens and Idaho Food bank. Also, a huge shout out to all our dedicated volunteers who helped sort, pack, load up and deliver all 100,000 of those pounds! We could not do this work without your support!
Produce season may be over, but volunteer opportunities are still available through the winter months! Sign up to volunteer below and watch your email for opportunities to come. |

Support the Shopper Assistance Fund |
We are partnering with our friends at Boise Farmers Market to continue to provide radical access to food for our neighbors while ensuring our farmers are paid during these uncertain times. In order to fund this program through the month of November we need your support to raise $100,000 by Thanksgiving Day. Together we can ensure ALL our neighbors are fed this holiday season.
