Dear Friends, 

October was supposed to be the end of our Mobile Market season but, on November 1st, SNAP benefits were paused and many of our neighbors faced increased food insecurity. In response, the van is back on the road until Thanksgiving and is stocked with lots of protein as well as seasonal veggies. Everyone is invited to shop with us and to pay what they choose, no questions asked. At our first two stops this week we ran out of produce within the first 30 minutes. While we're thrilled to be able to help fill fridges, it was a sharp reminder of how much this food is needed across Boise.

Last week we delivered our 200,000th pound of fresh produce to our community, and 100,000 of those pounds were distributed just in the last 4 months! This milestone was made possible thanks to our partners at Global Gardens and Idaho Food bank. Also, a huge shout out to all our dedicated volunteers who helped sort, pack, load up and deliver all 100,000 of those pounds! We could not do this work without your support!

We are partnering with our friends at Boise Farmers Market to continue to provide radical access to food for our neighbors while ensuring our farmers are paid during these uncertain times. In order to fund this program through the month of November we need your support to raise $100,000 by Thanksgiving Day. Together we can ensure ALL our neighbors are fed this holiday season. The Mobile Market is back through November! In reaction to the rising need for food in our community, City of Good & Boise Farmers Market are relaunching the Mobile Market through the rest of the month! Shop fresh, local food for the price you choose, no questions asked!

City of Good will be a vendor at the Cathedral of the Rockies Alternative Christmas Market this Saturday & Sunday! Come shop from a variety of vendors and support your local nonprofits. There will also be a soup lunch served Saturday at 11:30am. We hope to see you there!
