THE MOBILE MARKET
Shop for fresh produce in your neighborhood! The Mobile Market, a partnership between the Boise Farmers Market and City of Good, provides access to locally grown produce with regularly scheduled weekday routes throughout Boise. Using a completely ‘pay what you choose’ model, our organizations are working together to ensure equitable access to local food for ALL Boise residents. We accept credit card, debit card, and cash.
Be sure to follow @citiesofgood and @boisefarmersmarket on instagram for the latest info every week!
In 2025, we integrated a “pay what you choose” model at all Mobile Market stops. This means any customer shopping at the market has the choice to pay the amount they want for fresh, local food with no questions asked. That amount can be anywhere from $0 to retail price—our farmers get paid for their
product either way.
As of 2026, we are the nations only fully “pay what you choose”
farmers market on wheels.

Father and son team, Tim and Mike Sommer, are fourth and fifth generation Idaho farmers that work in the field and the farm's commercial kitchen. Building healthy soil and growing high quality food are their passions. Talk to Jackie Sommer, Mike's wife, to hear what's new at the farm. Our seasonal product list changes by the day so she keeps restaurants and grocers up to date on what's ready for your plate.
Each member of the Sommer family helps to support the farm, from marketing, to IT support, to doctoring lambs, or repairing a farm truck. We work in the community to promote organic agriculture by mentoring new farmers, speaking at organic farming conferences, and serving on the board of directors for our local farmers market and producer cooperative. Purple Sage Farms is an award winning family farm, recognized for persistent and long-term advocacy for Idaho’s locally and organically grown food system.
-
The Jelly Lady is Ann Price, who has taken over the business started by her mom, Marge. We've been selling delicious jams and jellies at Boise Farmers Market since 1998.
We make over 40 different flavors of jams and jellies. We also make Cowboy Candy--sliced jalapenos marinating in sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, turmeric, and cayenne pepper.

Forty-seven years ago, we began as a traditional ranch. Over time, we shifted our operations based on the core belief that producing an ethical, environmentally friendly product must begin with healthy soil. This commitment led to our evolution into a grass-fed and finished beef ranch.
In 2011, Debby was recognized as the Owyhee Conservationist of the Year for her dedication to water projects, no-till planting, and pasture rotation. We are also proud founding members of The Boise Farmers Market, an organization that prioritizes a producer-focused marketplace.

What began as a middle school science project in 2015 has grown into Idaho's premier mushroom farm. Founder Brody Ferguson is helping shape the next generation of Idaho farming by growing exceptional gourmet mushrooms with a focus on flavor, health, sustainability, and authenticity.
We grow premium varieties including Oyster, King Trumpet, Chestnut, Shiitake, Lion's Mane, and Reishi. Beyond fresh mushrooms, we offer handcrafted seasonings, dried mushrooms, mushroom cocoa, and beginner-friendly grow kits to make mushrooms easy to enjoy every day.Based on a family farm in Greenleaf, Idaho, we're proud to supply fresh mushrooms to farmers markets, restaurants, and customers throughout the Treasure Valley while partnering with local businesses that strengthen our farming community.

Hi there! We’re Jess and Ammon, the owners of Hen & Hare Microfarm and Apis. Hen & Hare is our two-acre microfarm and home. We raise sheep, poultry, and rabbits; grow herbs, fruit, and flowers; make jams; and teach livestock processing classes. We manage pasture, garden and food forests, barns and our home. We hope that the microfarm can inspire small-acreage owners to make the most of their land.
From our small microfarm, we offer a diverse selection of products. Pasture-raised poultry and homemade jams, to an herbal apothecary line and handwoven blankets from our sheep. We showcase the diversity you can produce for yourself and others on just two acres.

First established in 1908 by John Steele Gourley. Today it is owned and operated by the great-great-grandaughters of Reverend Gourley and daughters of Richard- Gretchen and Robin. The orchard has been a family affair for four, going on five generations!
As from the beginning, the orchard continues to offer visitors the pick-your-own experience or already picked produce at our on site orchard fruit stand. In fact, we have many stories of repeat customers and generations of families that continue to share the experience with others.
We enjoy sharing the beauty of the orchard and providing fresh, tree ripe fruit- and now peony blooms- to the people of Southern Idaho.

Owned and operated by Davis McDonald and Brooke Matheny. Our farm resides just outside of downtown Boise, where we grow annuals, perennials, dahlias, and specialty spring flowers including ranunculus, anemones, and tulips.
Sun-Dog Farm came to be after 10 years of Davis co-owning and operating Fiddler’s Green Farm, splitting his time between vegetables and flowers; and after Brooke spent 6 years moving and farming between Idaho and California. In the fall of 2024, the land and opportunity presented itself so that we could build a flower focused farm just down the road from where we have been living and farming for the last several years.
-

John Grady, a Boise native, spent his teenage years on small organic farms before dabbling in construction, line cooking, commercial fishing, trail building and a host of other grunt jobs. Eventually he returned home and started a farm with his friends.
Leawna hails from the Arizona desert. She spent her 20s traveling and working throughout the West before landing in Boise. She accidentally found herself in farming, and her love of the work blossomed from there.
Ben was born and raised in Florida, moving to Idaho in 2016. When he’s not working the fields you can find him in the kitchen cooking up fire or making d-beats in the practice space.

We are the early risers, already hustling well before the break of dawn to bring quality, hand crafted bread to your family table and special outing. Led by the owner/head baker Michael Runsvold, the morning grind is as much of a necessity as it is a testament to our commitment to provide fresh loaves to the masses.
Michael Runsvold is a James Beard Foundation “Outstanding Baker” semifinalist and Idaho native. After years of working in bakeries around the Treasure Valley, Mike set out on his own to start Acme Bakeshop. In 2012 the bakery began as a small bread delivery service with every loaf personally baked and delivered by Mike himself. Acme soon expanded, and these days our bakery is bustling with a dedicated crew of bakers, delivery drivers, and farms market pros who help sling hundreds of loaves to over 40 businesses around the Treasure Valley. And yes, Mike is still chugging coffee and throwing dough along with us!
