Dear friends,
As 2025 winds down, we want to take time to reflect on this past year and recognize the work you all made possible. In addition to the staggering impact numbers you’ll see below, City of Good spent the month of November responding to the pause in SNAP benefits by providing approximately $20,000 in produce, meats and bread to neighbors through our Mobile Market program. We also provided 2,400 meals to guests staying at Interfaith Sanctuary – none of which would have been possible without your support.
We know that was only scratching the surface of what was needed at that time. Food insecurity continues to grow, and while SNAP may be back, that concern and crisis remains ongoing. We have big goals for responding to community needs and supporting our local farmers in 2026, but we can’t remain nimble and responsive without you.
Please consider making a gift to City of Good by the end of the year. Thanks to a $50,000 match from an anonymous donor, every dollar given between now and December 31st will be doubled—meaning even more food purchased and distributed to our neighbors.
We know this is an incredibly noisy time for giving. If there is one thing we hope you take away from this newsletter, it’s that City of Good has a unique and effective response to the growing need in our community and we hope you’ll share our work with friends, family, and neighbors. We need your support to make it all happen.
With gratitude,
Britt
