Dear Friends,
There is so much I want to share with you and we can't squeeze it all into this newsletter so please look out for our Impact Report that will reach your inbox soon or reach out to me directly. I'd love to talk with you about what our donors and partners make possible!
We continue to partner with peer organizations to ensure that Boise really is a city of GOOD. In our fifth summer, City of Good ran the volunteer program for Shade City Brew Fest; helped to grow the Dandelion Festival; participated in Boise Pride's joyful weekend of events; continued to serve Boise's best burgers at The Counter in the Shrine Social Club; launched our catering program; celebrated the exciting renovations at the Boise Airport (check out our snacks in the vending machines!) all while delivering fresh produce and meals to neighbors every single week.
I recently had the privilege of taking one of our volunteer delivery shifts and loved seeing, in real time, fresh vegetables move directly from farmers to pantries. With your help, we've been able to distribute an average of more than 5,000 pounds of local produce every week of this harvest season. And did you know that the Mobile Market, a partnership between the Boise Farmers Market and City of Good, is our nation's only entirely Choose What You Pay farmers market? Together we are making radical access a reality!
I hope you will join us on Thursday for Salsa Fest (If you do, please stop by the beer tent and say hi to me!) or that you will show up for one of the season's final Mobile Market stops. We've got a lot to celebrate together. With gratitude, Britt |

Mobile Market Season Comes to a Close October 2nd! |
|
|
You have two more weeks to shop your neighborhood Mobile Market stop for fresh, local produce for the price you choose! We will be finishing out the season the evening of October 2nd at the KIN Night Market, so come by, shop local goods & food, and celebrate a great season with us! |
...but produce season isn't slowing down! |
Although the Mobile Market season is closing out, our produce distribution program is ramping up with the Fall harvests. We will continue delivering produce to 15 different food pantries every Monday through October, and we can't do it without volunteer support! Sign up below to join our volunteer team and check out upcoming opportunities. |
