There are some local students and families at Sage International School that need a little extra help in the food and nutrition department this holiday season. As part of our Build a Better Boise campaign, we are raising an additional $1,265 to support the creation of 46 nutritious fuel kits for Sage students and their families who are experiencing food insecurity. Sage is a free public charter school with students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
These kits will contain six meals and snacks with locally-sourced ingredients and made with care by Roots Zero Waste Market. Delivery date is set for December 22, so we only have a short time to raise these funds.
A fuel kit, on average, costs $27.50 to create. If we can get 46 donors to sponsor one fuel kit, we will have the entire list of food insecure families at the school covered!
If we raise more than the goal, even better! Thank you for helping us give these food insecure families a brighter holiday season!
