April was a busy month in our Circle of Good, and we’re so thankful to everyone who helped make it amazing—full of celebration and community support. We marked five years of City of Good, held our first-ever State of the Organization address, hosted a volunteer job fair, and even surpassed our Idaho Gives fundraising goal!

But we’re just getting started! There’s so much to look forward to, including the Dandelion Festival, the return of the Mobile Market, and the start of the growing season for our local farmers. Keep reading to find out how you can join in and make a difference!

We had a such a fun week participating in Idaho Gives last month and are grateful for all the support from our Circle of Good. We surpassed our goal and had the best time celebrating the amazing nonprofits in our community!

We raised 125% of our goal and ended the week with $31,409 raised thanks to your support!

A big thank you to Inspiration Alley for hosting us throughout the week and Woodland Empire for providing refreshments!

We’re revving up to hit the road again this summer with our partners at the Boise Farmers Market — and that means it’s time to hire for our seasonal Mobile Market team! We're looking for a Mobile Market Associate to help bring fresh, local produce to neighborhoods all across Boise. If you or someone you know is interested in joining City of Good, learn more here:

The growing season is here again, bringing with it an abundance of fresh, local produce ready to be distributed to pantries across the valley. Our Food Pantry Project kicks back into high gear this June, and we’ll need plenty of helping hands to pack produce and deliver to pantries throughout the season! If you're looking for a way to get involved, we'll be in touch soon with volunteer opportunities.

Thanks to our incredible volunteers, we've gathered all the dandelions we need! The flowers are now off to be dried and brewed, thanks to our partners at Purple Sage Farms and Woodland Empire.

Starting at the beginning of April, we moved production of our Senior Fuel Kits into our own kitchen! Every week our team at The Counter is cooking up delicious, local meals to be distributed to our neighbors!
