It has been a busy and sometimes confusing few weeks as we're responding to a changing funding landscape. Despite that, we continue to provide meals for neighbors, support for local farmers, and work for those with barriers to employment. It's joyful and exciting work!

CITY OF GOOD'S CHEFS ARE MAKING MEALS FOR FUEL KITS

Last week was vegan chili, this week was spinach and apple salad! We are so excited to be shopping directly from local farmers to create delicious meals for seniors.

So far this year we have provided :

A total of 1,722 meals

129 Weekend Fuel Kits (774 meals)

158 Senior Fuel Kits (948 meals)

The first time the parents got meal kits for all 6 kids they were so excited. The second week they received the meal kits, and we were able to tell them they would receive it every week, they cried.”
