Food with a Purpose

City of Good is the exclusive food provider for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CUP! As part of our waste reduction efforts, we do not have single use plastic cups on site. You may bring your own or purchase one of ours for $4.

(And don’t forget to BYO cup to the Café!)

City of Good is excited to present an entirely local, seasonal menu at Café Shakespeare. Our menu showcases and celebrates Idaho producers and growers, and offers something everyone can enjoy. By purchasing food from the café, you’re enjoying a great meal while supporting City of Good’s programs and our mission to build a sustainable food system. For more information on our programs and how we support food security for all Boise residents, click here.  If you’d like to volunteer at the café, click here! Contact the Café: 208-872-2820 or [email protected].

Know Before You Go
  • On show nights, the cafe is open from 6-8pm with a full menu. During intermission, we will offer snacks, desserts, and drinks.
  • Guests can pre-order their meals until 24 hours before a show (or as far in advance as two weeks!). If orders are not picked up they will be donated to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
  • Please bring a reusable cup or plan to purchase one at the Cafe. We do not serve single use cups.
