With school starting back up and produce season not slowing down, we have lots of open opportunities ready to be filled. This program cannot run without the help of our volunteers!

Mondays : Surplus produce distribution from Global Gardens is bigger than ever this year. These shifts' start-times range between 10:30am-11:45am and are on average 30 min - 1.5 hours in length.

1st & 3rd Thursdays : Deliver to the Boise Community School pantries at 1:00pm starting on August 21st!

If you are having difficulty navigating our volunteer platform or have any questions regarding shifts, do not hesitate to reach out to mark@cityofgood.com. We are ready to answer any questions you have and would love to have you join our amazing group of volunteers!

Do you think you have best salsa in the Treasure Valley? Or just enjoy tasting yummy salsas? Join us on September 18th from 5-8pm at North End Organic Nursery for another year of Salsa Fest! Whether your looking for a family fun evening full of tasty dips or looking to prove your salsa making skills there is something for everyone! Food trucks, beverages, bouncy houses, live music and some friendly competition never hurt anyone! $5 entry fee for ages 17+. All entry fees and beverage sales go back to City of Good!

We are so excited to share that an anonymous corporate sponsor of Boise Pride has generously made City of Good the beneficiary of their sponsorship this year! This means you can catch us during Boise Pride weekend, Sept. 6-7, tabling at the festival, driving the Mobile Market in the parade, and bringing awareness to our mission via prime advertising placement!

We make grab-n-go options available at retail stores inside the Boise Airport. We partnered with the Boise Airport this year to start supplying their shops with locally made, ready-to-eat options. All these products are made in house by graduates of our workforce development program!
